We really need it. And we’ll be very grateful. We think this is a good idea, but we’d prefer to rely on people’s support, rather than government generosity (or lack thereof).

We guarantee we’ll spend your money wisely. We will be able to cover off our 2018 costs and ideally have some funds to kick-start Shakespeare by the Lakes 2019.

 

In 2019, we are aiming to increase our 4-show budget by at least 25%. We will purchase signage, increase the costume budget, improve staging and lighting, and pay some more of our pocket expenses. We would also like to increase the number of shows. The bare-bones cost per performance is $7500.
